Dr. J. Danny Park, MD, FACEP, is an accomplished Emergency Medicine physician, innovator, and entrepreneur specializing in integrating emerging technologies—particularly AI-driven solutions—into acute care settings. As Director of Innovations in the Division of EM Telehealth, Director of EM Clinical Informatics and Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Dr. Park is committed to propelling Emergency Medicine to the forefront of digital transformation. His pioneering work in AI-powered clinical tools, streamlined telehealth models, and data-driven hospital operations has positioned him as a leading voice in reshaping how modern healthcare systems deliver rapid, high-quality patient care.

Drawing on a decade of frontline emergency department experience, Dr. Park has successfully led initiatives to improve clinical workflows, reduce door-to-doctor times, and advance patient-centered care, earning recognition as a Sepsis Champion and establishing a reputation for operational excellence. As a passionate innovator, he has co-founded multiple ventures—most notably AI- and telehealth-focused startups—and secured meaningful partnerships with hospital stakeholders and technology providers alike. His ability to fuse clinical insight with business strategy results in powerful scalable programs that meet the evolving demands of healthcare.

With Bachelor’s degrees in Economics, Neurobiology, and Physiology from the University of Maryland—and an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine—Dr. Park embodies a multidisciplinary approach that balances deep clinical expertise and fiscal acumen. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Christiana Care Health System, where he honed a passion for deploying evidence based Change Management methodologies and cutting-edge informatics. Board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Park continues to forge collaborations across academic, clinical, and industry sectors, championing novel technologies that will shape the next generation of emergency care delivery.
